PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: February 2026
This is a good-faith privacy policy for a solo indie games studio. It’s written in plain language because legalese helps nobody.
What data is collected
Email address only — and only if you voluntarily sign up for the mailing list. That’s it. No tracking pixels, no hidden forms, no fingerprinting.
How it’s used
Your email is used to send game updates, dev news, and launch announcements. Nothing else. It’s not shared, sold, rented, or traded.
Double opt-in
When you sign up, you’ll get a confirmation email. You aren’t added to the list until you click confirm. This stops accidental signups and makes sure you actually want to hear from Polylusion.
How to unsubscribe
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you’re out. No hoops, no guilt trip, no “are-you-sure” page.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no “essential” cookies that are actually tracking cookies with a different name.
Analytics
Polylusion uses privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics. No personal data is collected. No IP addresses are stored. Page views are counted anonymously to understand which content people find useful. That’s all.
Third parties
Kit (ConvertKit) processes email subscriptions. They have their own privacy policy. The analytics provider processes anonymous page view data. No data is sold to anyone, by anyone, ever.
Contact
Questions about privacy? Reach out to Polylusion through the social links in the footer, or use the press contact if applicable.
This policy was written in good faith by a solo developer, not a lawyer. If anything here is unclear, ask. I’ll give you a straight answer.
